Hollowcast Armed Civilian Painted & Meets The Gang

Here he is almost completely repainted but in the original colors except the vest is a tad lighter. The only bits of original paint still visible are the pink cheek spots and the base. its hardly visible here but I painted the buttons on his vest.

One thing which does annoy me is that his right arm is a little bigger than his left. I tried to disguise this by painting some grey on the inside of the white sleeve to give a false impression of a skinnier arm.

The Britains figure is here compared to some home castings of Lincoln Logs Railway figures. These were made by my old deceased mate, Dave Bryant. I have about five or six of these I painted. You can see that one of them I gave a firearm with bayonet instead of his brief case. The figures are slightly bigger than the Britains.
The second figure from the left is a Funny Little Wars metal figure purchased from The Virtual Armchair General. He comes with choice of pistol or bomb (as he is intended to be a spy) but I gave him a spare rifle arm.
The figure at left is a HK copy of a Herald farmer. The figure with explosives is a conversion of a plastic figure.

Mr Plod has gathered a bit of dust whilst on that shelf. Oh well, he should shake it off when he chases the villains. He is a Charbens remold.
The photographer has 'PRESS" on his arm band but he could be a spy or a war photographer. He is from a hard plastic  racing car figure set.
The man with petrol can was a single civilian figure I picked up somewhere and added the sombrero and poncho. Up to no good is my guess.
This is Paddy who I made for a Mexican Revolution game and as a mercenary Irishman. He is made from the Cheriliea Mexican with two guns. A putty haversack was added to hold his explosives. He was given a Charbens roadworker head. The dynamite was made from fuse wire.
Any farm worker has potential as a spy or as someone about to go berserk with a gardening implement.
The HK-made scarecrow could have a real person hiding in there.
