Ssschleich Snake Versus Ancient Romans

I bought this Schleich snake recently and was happy to at last find a snake rearing up. I was just disappointed in lack of fangs but that is actually accurate for the boa constrictor.

The reason I put Romans attacking the snake is there is a historical record of Roman soldiers battling a huge snake in Africa.
