Steam Punk Sub Under Construction
I have been meaning to do this for some years, after I bought a fish shaped ceramic fish baker.
This is the upper part with the top of a mouthwash container added, handy for an officer to peer out of with his binoculars.
The nostrils will be the torpedo bays.
I'll probably paint it blue with white and black eyes but any suggestions are welcome.
I'd copy the paint style of the old Disney 20000 leagues... that patina'd brass and rusty steel thing, but that's me. (brass rails always add to victorian stuff).

ReplyDeleteApparently there is something called 'Naval brass' which is resistant.
