Eclectic Mix Of 'Modern Infantry'

I was recently asked for pics of my 'modern' troops. In historical terms 'modern' is sometimes meant to mean post Middle Ages! However, most people see it as 20th century and especially post WW2. I have interpreted it very liberally here. These are some fairly random shots from some of my smaller cabinets. I have not included my modern Americans in this post.

First up are some near future SF figures with a more contemporary figure in the background (but painted in fictitious colors).

Next are assorted WW2 figures painted in fictitious uniforms. The grenade thrower is a cheap Chinese copy of Timpo with putty beret added.
Here are more pics of the cheapo Sf figures. They came out briefly some years ago.
Below are Paraguayans for the 1930s Chaco War with Bolivia. They are 50mm converted white hunter jungle figures.
This is a Mix of Crescent, Lone Star and Britains Super Detail. They saw service in my 1960s Congo battles
The marching figures are BUM Spanish Civil Guard. The others are assorted metal Australian WW1 troops.
Copies of Herald modern infantry and assorted other stuff!
Lone star and copy of Timpo WW2.
Assorted figures. The bayonetting figure is Crescent, I think. The Molotov cocktail thrower is a cheapo figure which had a broken rifle converted to a bottle. The figure with field telephone is a good quality cheapo Chinese modern infantryman. The running figure is a copy of Marx.
Airfix WW2, French made FFL drummer, cheapo modern figure with gasmask and Crescent.
Congo mercenaries including WW2 Australian and assorted cheapo modern infantry and a matchbox grenade thrower

                                                               This photo was a fail!
