ACW BMC Infantryman Converted Into Crossbowman

Why is he a crossbowman? Because he would have preferred a longbow!

The figure, as yet unbased, is a BMC kneeling infantryman reaching for ammo. I replaced the head with one from a copy of a Timpo knight. The hems of the trousers were trimmed to look like boots and the musket was cut down with a hole drilled to accept a curved piece of wire.

The figure was made to join Bogavanian crossbow units. It is part of an imagi-nation army so I was not aiming to have a flawless depiction of medieval soldiers. This particular, unit, for a distinctive trait, has red pants, although blue and white are the signature colors of Bogavania.
