More 18th Century To Early 19th Century Troops

One of my current focuses is on 18th and early 19th century troops. It is funny that it has come via my fantasy campaigning. I never had much interest in re-battling Waterloo etc. previously it had been ECW but only because my fantasy nations were reaching that stage in their development.

First up is an Timpo Action Pack British officer. As I bought this one secondhand someone had already started painting it, leaving the plastic red for the coat so I left the jacket as is and finished the painting without an undercoat, but it has got two overcoats. I also added the putty blanket roll and rolled coat.

This was a later Timpo horse so did not have a molded on bridle; I painted it instead.

My favorite grenadiers are the Charbens ones. These four are all my resin copies. Unfortunately, the musket is usually not fully coming out and I have had to add it on. These join an existing regiment I am trying to complete numbers for.

This is a shot BMC figure. I'll add some blood around the lower face as I changed the BMC to another BMC head and it has irregularities from stray baking soda used with the Super Glue to join the head to the body. The original head was the fur grenadier one. To complete a unit of these I'll need to paint another 24 but I am putting that on hold.
