Walking Wounded Guardsman, Highlanders & Beastmen

Previously I showed the guardsman conversion unpainted. Here he is painted. The base is yet to be flocked.

I am fairly happy with the result although a guardsman would be a little taller. For those who missed the earlier post, the head is cast from a Timpo guardsman.
A while back I featured the hollowcast Viking converted into Jacobin Highlander. Under the base of the figure is the name 'Plubius'. Just why a Viking was named after a repeatedly defeated Roman general is a mystery. I am going to call this fellow Publius Mac Leane.

The figure to the right is a resin copy I made with new sword arm from a pirate and a new Historex head. I decided to add putty bonnet and shoulder tartan.

I suspect the kits are still a wee bit short and people might well ask 'Are your Mac Cleanes showing?' (That was an old Australian toothpaste ad line and a perpetual earworm).

Here are the Beastmen completed with terrained bases and details painted.
