Britains Hollowcast Civilians & Resin Copies

I bought three damaged or incomplete Britains hollowcast civilians from a Sunday market for $2 each. I like to get figures like this to either 'restore' or to make into something a bit different. But now I am doing some resin casting I decided to make a few copies. The ladies with baskets came out reasonably well.

The John Bull-looking figure was less successful however the resin feetless copies can be copleted with wire and putty or used for more extensive conversions, including sitting figures

I don't know what this figure was intended as but I might cut odd his remaining handless arm and give him arms holding a rifle.
This lady now packs a pistol. She could spring her man from jail or maybe she is a Confederate spy or a feisty Boer lady.

The jail was also a pickup from the Sunday market. It is homemade of wood.

I was experimenting to see what the farmer type figure would look like with a shouldered rifle or musket.
