Ladies From April 2025 Workbench

    I like civilian figures, especially from earlier eras. First up are two metal figures, one being a hollow-cast (with umbrella) and the other being a home casting who has lost the umbrella ad lost weight. The facial features reminded me of non-Caucasian. The figure at left could be Chinese or Eurasian. The other version I gave a more African appearance.  I am unsure what stories, games she will fit into, but she might be the queen of Lionia and she has lately become interested in Western fashions.       

   I think I overdid the eye shadow on the Negress. I also see bits where I missed with the purple paint on the other, so I'll fix that up later.

  Thye ladies with aprons are my resin copies of Britains holllow-cast. I copied the colors of the original figure and painted them the same so I can use them in a story. The pistol was hidden in the picnic basket, under the tablecloth, see, and she is springing her man from jail.

I kept the paintwork fairly basic but with some extra details. I haven't varnished them yet, but they will be given a satin finish after I do some touchup work..
