PAINTS
I quite life Vallejo paints but I had some issues with the black primer. I coated the figures with Modge Podge and let that set for three days before coating with Vallejo black primer. It was very hard to get the normal acrylic paints to stick to it as it tended to not spread evenly. That is why you can see some unpainted spots on the Indian. I had to add some PVA mixed into the paints but even that did not work one hundred percent. I think next time I'll skip the black primer. In fact, the white primer might also have this issue.

The main thing is not to let paint come into direct contact with the plastic used in man of the ElastoWit figures or it can remain tacky. This might require sometimes two coats of Modge Podge. Even the underside of the bases should be coated with Modge Podge if an paint comes in contact, otherwise base the figures. You can also use PVA with a drop of dishwashing liquid (as with Modge Podge).
