Ukrainian Resin Anarchist Woman
Quite a few years ago, I bought a small set of Ukrainian anarchists, probably from Ukraine. The resin they are made from does not lend itself well to figures falling on the floor, especially if it is a concrete one! The woman suffered this fate and had to be repaired. A new Mauser magazine pistol was made from wire and putty. I am not entirely happy with it, but it is not too bad.
She is really a lovely figure with a lovely figure! I decided to paint a pattern on the shirt to make it resemble a Ukrainian peasant top. My only disappointments were the brittleness of the resin and the height of the figures, which is about 65mm.
I placed it next to 54mm figures to show the size. The armed civilian is a metal figure and a home casting from a hollow-cast and given a rifle.
The grey wall is made from wooden blocks and the window is a cut down spare part from a either a Space ork truck or a Dark Eldar Raider skimmer.
To her right is an ElastoWit figure.
I think your figure looks good James. Nice painted to.
ReplyDeleteThe Mauser C96 turned out as good as one can expect for figures this size.
