I Presently Can't Access Facebook

 Generally, I share my posts on Facebook so that more people are aware of them. Unfortunately, it has become increasingly difficult to access FB and this morning I spent half an hour (unsuccessfully) trying to log on. Each time I have tried I get picture boxes to tick for presence of buses or whatever. This can sometimes include three or four lots of pictures. Then I have to confirm on 'another device'. Well, I don't have 'another device' as I access Internet only on my laptop, not a phone. Then it says try another way' which has generally been my email and involves me, awkwardly, opening my g-mail whilst trying not to lose my FB login page. Then I get a code to log in but now the codes don't work and finally I don't even get that option.

  SO those of you on FB don't be surprised if you can't, for a considerable, indefinite time, communicate with me there.

UPDATE

I can access after extended fluffing around with password code recovery. FB tells me my password needs to be changed as it is incorrect (despite having been saved and automatic for ages) and when I try to change it FB tells me 'not yet'.
