My Life of Drawing Shooty & Other Stuff
Gary of Texas asked me if I would include my art work with toy soldier posts. Next wargame I'll see what I can do. It will be an ACW one.
But just for something different, here are some pics I did from the 1960s when I was about 11 years old. I drew all kinds of things but I liked the shooty stuff. I also watched a lot of Tarzan and Jungle Jim! In fact, a nickname I had WAS Jungle Jim!
Anyhow, while you are waiting for illustrated battle reports, Gary, here is some of my old and new art work.
Below are some pictures from my 1960s sketch book.
From my social studies book in the early 70s.
Here is another one from my 1960s sketch book. And some stuff from much more recently:
My drawing of Sekhmet, ancient Egyptian lioness goddess

My pictures of members of the Romanovs and Rasputin. I was reading a book about Rasputin and it included old photos that I adapted with y gel pen and coloured pencils. I also am working on an unfinished picture of Tsar Nicholas.
