Temu Ogre Converted to 1/32 Orc
There are some interesting 3D printed figures on Temu. Scales vary but are usually Warhammer scale (about 30mm for humans) and sometimes 54mm (for humans).
Along with assorted other figure and camping stuff (you have to spend $40 for a minimum order) I bought a resin ogre (or giant at very small scale). I figure he us intended for Warhammer scale. The pose and sculpting are nice but two tings had to go - the miniscule head and the oversized warhammer.
I intend using the figure as a 1/32 orc, which means he is just a bit ore chunky and tall than a human. The head I gave him is a metal one from Eureka miniatures, originally intended for smaller scale orcs with very big heads, but just right for 1/32. I cut off much of the left horn to make room for the raised arm. The weapons were removed and a DSG shield added to the left arm, The right arm was given a pointy metal weapon from Ebay. I also added custom scale armour made from sequins, glued on with Super Glue.
The figure fell on the floor and a leg broke so I had to re-Super Glue.
It is not so common to see toy soldiers with shield raised above head but it suggests incoming. On reflexion I wish I had fixed an arrow to the shield.
Here he is compared to a Britains Detail knockoff.
