A Very Assorted Workbench Progress of Monsters, Boxers, ACW, Stellar Aztec Musket Men and War of 1812 Sprucing Up.
A monster from a Sunday market, given more detail. Something caught my eye, probably the eyes.
Funny Little Wars officer from The Virtual Armchair General
Bogavanian crossbowman made from modern infantryman
Aztec matchlock men in Stellar service. They have a mix of 17th century European and Aztec items.
Next time I'll paint the face before making the putty animal head helmet.
Boxers in blue and purple color scheme. I did not refence a particular historical source for the color.
Chess piece lord of the Rings the chess-piece I painted. I might use him as an ogre or troll.
Chinese matchlock men and standard bearers. These are converted from A Call to Arms ECW figures. The flags were downloaded from my FB friend Billy's offerings. They are generic dragon flags. In this case I just Super Glued and PVA'd them to wire poles. I still have to make toppers for the poles.
Some very cheapo pirates are here painted as Chinese. I added the pig tails that were generally worn until after the Chinese Revolution.
17th century period 1/35 chess pieces repainted. I need to touch up the blue top on the priest.
Size comparison with AIP figure
Incomplete ACW Federals in light blue uniform worn by reservists and some volunteer units and Confederate drummer in progress. I am not sure if he is Marx. Italeri left and BMC right.
