King Kong Versus Beerstein On Skull Island
Previously, as you will recall, the Beersteiner expedition had repelled a dinosaur and shot up the natives (the remainder being ten squashed by a dinosaur).
This time old and new threats presented themselves. The Beersteiners stayed within range of their ships' cannons and organized themselves in firing lines. The Mongol mercenary mounted bowmen were sent out to lure any threat to where it could be shot. Fortunately, there were patches of open country the cavalry could traverse.
Meanwhile two dinosaurs charged the expedition but disciplined firing from flintlocks and cannons brought down the beasts.
Meanwhile a huge ape spotted the Mongols. Enraged that they should trespass on his land the monster charged but the cavalry kept ahead of it. Then the Beersteiner infantry saw the approaching Kong. They and the cannon on the island and offshore opened up. A large hole was blasted out of Kong's middle. For a very brief moment Kong looked down at it and then crashed to the ground.
BELOW: A dinosaur charges but pauses as it is shot at. Before it can renew the charge it is shot dead.
Another dead dinosaur
Of three dinosaurs one remained alive.
