PROGRESS and OUTCOME
Early in the day a torrential rain hit, making shooting and movement impossible. the dinosaur was no affected but, after checking the random reaction table, charged the Fezians across the river. The water was exceptionally deep and the progress of the animal was halved.
It ploughed into spearmen and then sailors, squashing several and causing to rest to flee. The torrential rain suddenly ceased and the Fezian plate passed their terror test and charged! The heroes and even the commander hacked at the beast. Eventually the creature lost all of its six wounds and fell with an earth moving crash.
That evening the men dined on roasted dinosaur which they said tasted like chicken.
NEXT BATTLE
Fezians versus Mongols

Lovely including your pet. Did Chloey play any part of your game?
ReplyDeleteI often thought that a real rogue cat could play the part of random violence or disease! Of course, each player would then be trying to coax it to stand on the opponent's troops!
DeleteBut, no, we tolerate her on the table because she is actually very careful, NOT to knock stuff over, unless I balance a regiment on her back! She enjoys the company. Usually, though, she gets relegated to a quiet corner. In this game she just quietly snoozed in an inconvenient place. Cats are close to sacred animals for me so I allow quite a lot of cat licence.
