Repairing Hollow-cast
An exception to the subject is the first pic which is a solid home casting. It will be a 1930s 0r 40s British Household Guard. The plumes are magnificent. my old friend David Bryant, made this from the Britians Swoppet guardsman, I think. I am adding bits and pieces. However, Britains did make hollow cast ones that are less common than the later period.
This next figure is the one I showed in an earlier post with Green Stuff tail. The sword arm is different to the original's.
The British guardsmen had no heads or firearms. Likewise, the Red Guard lacked head and gun. I could not find a slung rifle that the original Russian had so I just gave him a shouldered one. The head is also not a copy of the original but is close.
one thing with the two figures with light grey coats is the ones I have seen before are a dark grey like that of the Russian. Should I paint them a darker grey?
