Fezia Triumphant on Stellar Island & the Next Campaign

 

 

 My illustration demonstrates some of the Stellan uniforms. The elite infantry included descendants from Aztec warriors. They proudly wear their family Aztec artefact headgear but have also adopted 17th century Dutch clothing.

  The cavalry, usually riding white horses, wear the Greek armor worn by many Patran soldiers. The Stellan flag is carried on the infantry standard and the Patran shields.

  A portion of the Stellan infantry has continued to serve the Fezian overlords.

  THE NEXT CAMPAIGN

There was a forty plus pause in new colonisation as Fezia, Bogavania and Beerstein developed and exploited their new lands. Beerstein implemented the purification of Dread Island, destroying all traces of the Undead. Slowly, the evil was replaced with farms and settlements. On Skull Island there was a culling of the dangerous wildlife but experiments were conducted in training the ridable animals. A unit of smaller carnosaurs with skilled riders was trained to serve the Beerstein army. 

  Fezia and Bogavania safely secured human inhabited zones in Primordia. Eggs of some of the huge behemoths were sent to the mainland and the hatchlings raised and trained to accept howdahs and to fight in battle. Stellar Island was also garrisoned and a hearts and minds campaign used to mollify the defeated people. Unusual privileges of  free religious and cultural observations were allowed.

  Magic weapons and artefacts were also found.

  The arrival, in Bogavania, of American Civil War units (somehow mysteriously appearing from a 'portal' has had an impact with development of limited number of percussion muskets. Beerstein has had only limited access to such weapons, with a newly raised cavalry regiment having percussion carbines. Bogavania and Fezia now have a few infantry regiments with such weapons.

FUTURE GAME PLANS

I am working on revamping and refining army lists and credits available to each nation. In the meantime mat and i are going to be playing some non-campaign related games. The next one will be amphibious lizard people and dinosaurs against the Undead, including a vampire on a dragon! It will, of course, be in 1/32 scale.

  Now the powers are preparing for expansion towards other islands.
