Beersteiner Treasurer Conversion

 Quite a while back I got some sets of cheapo pirate stuff which included a hollow, hard plastic horse with treasure box. I filled in any gaps and painted it, intending to use it as part of my supply wagon trains. Then I got a quirky idea; that would be a good mount for a character in charge of a country's money. So has arisen 'the Treasurer'.
  The BMC George Washington is one of my favorite BMC figures. I have painted some up as generals, either in blue or red coats. I decided to use a spare Washington figure but to make it different I replaced the head with one from the worst BMC Texan figure, the one with one arm shrunken. The head is almost a top hat but not quite high enough and a little under sized. I pinned and glue the new head with addition of baking soda and Super glue and added extra to make a beard and to extend the hair at the back of the hair. I also added a flat split pin section to make a scabbard.

  I have begun painting him and will finish soon. Just to further distinguish from Beersteiner officers I trimmed off the epaulettes and painted the jacket black.

  The rider would, apart from the jacket turnbacks, make a good Boer officer but that is not his destiny.

As for rules I am thinking of something like he can produce extra funds when army or national supplies run low.

  The style is a transitional one with medieval looking horse furniture, 18th century style rider's coat, white wig and later style hat. As for name, he will be called Karl Scroogerick.
