The SIege of Wesrock

The king of Beerstein has led his army from recent victory to an attack on the Bogavanian capital. His army is only slightly bigger than his target but his siege machine force has been swollen by recent victories.

        Bogavanian allied Hillmen emerge from the castle and prepare to attack the Great Sword mercenarires.

 The attackers are defeated by Great Swords just as the Beersteiner mounted knights prepare to dsmount to assault the castle..

The Bogavanians are having some successes against the Beersteiner archers and halberd men who have taken position on one wall. Bogavanian knights are beginning to thin their numbers but Hillmen axemen allied to Beerstein are beginning to mount two of the walls. Great Swords are also preparing to cross over from a siege tower, one of three such siege weapons. A battering ram is weakening one of the gates. Darkness is falling but the battle continues with twice the casualties on the Bogavanian side.
