Alabama Red Rover

This was a fairly awful figure, a HK copy of Cresent from it's US Cavalry set here done in purple. The hat was skinny and small for the head so I built it up with putty; now it looks too big!. I trimmed the buckskin fringe off the legs and left them on the coat. These figures are easy to make from any buckskin figures with muskets. My uniform reference was 'The Alamo and the War of Texan Independence 1835 -36. One day I'll do a whole unit of them. They were not at the Alamo but were nearly all killed in the Fannin expedition when the Mexicans executed the prisoners.
