Fleeing Ancient Woman And Children

This is a metal group of figures I have had sitting in a box for quite a few years. I don't think I originally got the base with it as I bought it second hand. The base I have used is a hard plastic one which came with my Timpo Toyway Egyptians. I drilled holes in it to take the lugs and coated it with sawdust on PVA. I painted it sand color and dry brushed with an almost white shade. The robes are painted off white followed by grey shading and white highlights. I used 'olive' skin tones that were typical of many Romans, Greeks etc.

I don't know the brand of this model but it looks like Phoenix. I imagine this little group fleeing a volcano or perhaps some rampaging barbarians.
