Traditional Colonial Homecast Britains Toy Soldiers.

These figures were among some homecast figures I acquired.  At left is a Camel Corps figure. Britains might not have actually made this particular figure; it could be a conversion. The colonial figure in shorts is a straight solid copy of the original hollowcast. I have painted it in the same colors as the original. The puttees were probably, historically, a light khaki shade. This is a nice figure for the early to mid 20th century period and I wouldn't mind twenty to sixty of them!
