Early 1900s American Infantry Or Not

First up is a 45mm figure. He is actually part of a cowboy set but it looks to me like the maker could not make up his mind if it was a cowboy or a soldier. The bayoneted rifle combined with a pistol makes it unclear if he is infantry or cavalry. The style of leggings is also strange. I have painted him in American military colors but class the figure as an adventurer.

He is too small to go with my 54mm and 60mm figures but I like to have a selection of figures this size to show uniforms and clothing through the ages.

These two were Jecsan mounties but I painted them as American soldiers.
