Chaos Invades Necrolia (Half Time Battle Pics)

Mat has chosen to be the Undead commander. His forces are at left. The gap in the middle is a lake.

Mat won the dice rolls for setting up and first move. My Chaos forces with a Demon prince commander are at left. The monument is to Lord Draculus's son, Edeek, who was killed (double killed) by a Beersteiner with a wooden stake. (It is actually the head off a concrete garden ornament).

                            The Chaos warriors are mainly very heavily armored. despite their ferocity they failed a fear test when charged by the skeleton warriors and triceratops! They are, after all, still human, at least to some extent. Despite their skill level being thus reduced to one for the first round of melee their flag, rank bonus and armor ensured the battle was a draw. (They could have been pushed off the table).
