Timpo Copy Conversion

I am intrigued by the cheapo Chinese copies of Timpo and decided to spruce them up but keeping to a basic toy soldier style.  

The US 7th Cavalry figure I painted fairly much like the original, colored plastic except with facial details and brown instead of silver flag staff. 

   The flag is actually nothing much to do with anything historical but I left it as is for nostalgia reasons.

   The converted figure has putty additions to make it resemble the AWOI series. I was always fascinated by the spontoons carried by NCOs and officers so made one from the flag. The sword is a DSG one.

       The gap in the white hat line on the copy conversion is meant to represent the black rosette.
