Cereal Warriors of The World & Conversions

The 1960s Warriors of the World were silver plastic cereal premiums. They were an exciting part of breakfast!

The figures are about 50mm and rather 'undersized' contrasted to my other toy soldiers but the variety of eras made them fascinating.

Below are my paintjobs and conversions. I like the idea of a chronology of uniforms from ancients to modern.

First photo left to right: Mexican, conversion of Mexican to have a Stetson, British Tommy and Cossack.

                                                Left: Zulu
US cavalryman minus flag, new sword and painted as CSA, Same figure converted into British colonial officer
William tell crossbowman, 17th centruy Musketeer, US Cavalryman (with ridiculous 'flag')
Turks, one given shield, Spaniard/conquistador, 18th century grenadier
                                          Ancient Egyptian
Roman, conversion of 'Viking' into realistic Viking and one painted as Sea People warrior, Ancient Egyptian
Largely unpainted crusader and the 18th century grenadier painted as a British grenadier
