More Casting - British Cavalryman

Below: More gumball goblins needing a lot of cleaning up and new noses.

The converted Timpo dragoon metal castings. A lot of work is needed on the helmet and the face lacks an identifiable nose.
Still, they are usable and will pad out my existing unit of original figures. The mold was fairly successful with little leakage.
The resin castings came out much better than the metal but they didn't photograph well. The scabbard came out very well despite being an extremity. The very top of the helmet crest dd not quite come out but that is easily filled with putty.
The mold material is Siligum which has two parts that are molded together until they change color. I found that the Siligum took good detail and it was ready to use twenty minutes after the molds were made. The resin used is Teleexpert.
My attempt to make holding lugs from pencil bits did not come out as intended as I should have removed them when I made the second half of the mold. So instead of lugs there are long hollow sections. The mold held together well anyway.
