Big Plastic First Aid Dog

 I bought this dog at an op shop. It is hollow and made of two halves. It is about 1/24 scale. I placed it next to a 1/32 home casting of a Britains guardsman to show its size.

  If I had 12 or more of these, I'd consider placing riders on them! I once read an SF story where humans had spread to many star systems and then lost some of their original technology. Their armies had a mixture of technologies, but horses were absent from the imported fauna; dogs were not so they were bred for size as cavalry mounts!

The equipment can pull off the dog and could be adapted somehow. In reality I'll probably keep the dog as is, as a quaint item to put on an odds and ends shelf!
