Crabman Mutant Conversions & Friends

 I knew that at some stage I would find a use for toy crabs. Mutant crab clawed creatures were the solution. The figure at left is a conversion of a fantasy figure I completed a few years ago. The one at right I made yesterday. The lower half of the body comes from a cheapo modern infantryman.

The look of the original figure can be seen below. They are part of my Chaos mutant units. One figure had his arms and legs broken off which is why I came up with the conversion.

  Another thing I am trying is adding crystals to SF or fantasy bases. These are plastic shiny baubles that I bought from a craft section of Cheap as Chips. (The shop also had some cheap green flock).

  I thought they might distract from the figure, but the colors bounce back from and to the head, which is not too dissimilar in shade.

                                         The plane is a foam glider which has a futuristic look.
