Holiday Toy Scavenge

The first picture is of a triceratops vehicle! I got this in a San Remo op shop. Usually I would pass on this kind of thing but it just looked kind of cute and I'll paint it in metallic colors.

This little robot from a Sunday market, likewise - cute!
I also got some Airfix German paratroopers at a very reasonable price as they were just mixed in with cheapo stuff. The yellow clothed figure is from a superhero series. I'll probably give him a sword or/and ray-gun! The wooden flyer was home made by the market seller and it made me think of a small Barsoom flyer.

They aren't very clear here in their bags but these finger nail transfers have potential as shield, uniform or building emblems. They were in a cheap shop.

The discs were in a craft section of a variety shop.
This Sunday market Hulk may well end up as a troll or an ogre.
I couldn't resist this triple eyed monster. I'll paint his teeth and base him. The little rubbery monster under him I might just transfer its head to a bigger figure. The civilian has many uses.
The horse jumping has no markings but it is as good as a Britains Detail horse. The cheapo cannons are handy. The 'undersized' figures make good Munchkins, Gretchin, Gillikins, goblins etc.

  1. Nice find James. It'll be interesting to see what you make out of them.
