Sunday Market, Ginormous Army Guy

I was away for a few days and took the opportunity to check out Melbourne Sunday markets, op shops and cheap shops. In the last I look in the craft and toy section. In the op (charity shops) I look in the same areas as well as the old book section. I don't really expect to find much really collectible stuff, although I saw a woman in an op shop scanning the Internet, on her phone, to see the worth Poly Pocket toy she had found. The markets are a little more exciting and all kinds of things can turn up.

Below are some of the items I found. The soldier in plastic bag was just so strange that, for $3 I bought it. It is huge compared to a regular army guy and even bigger than GI Joes.

Here he is with some other acquisitions.

Apparently my memory card has stopped working so I'll have to try another one to share my other acquisitions but for now I'll just concentrate this one.

I'm not sure why I bought it. I think it was mainly because it was quaint and weird. I doubt if it is highly collectible but if anyone wants to correct me feel free.

So what do I do with it, keep it unopened as a wall or shelf decoration, paint it as a gigantic humanoid robot or, what I am leaning to, a very large bronze statue for my SF scenarios. let me know what YOU think.
