The Air Arm, Ornithopter, Biplane & Made in Japan Tinplate Vintage Car
I shwed thse planes in an earlier post but I did some more work on them. First up, the ornithopter has a cockpit cut into it and I transferred my pilot conversion figure, originally in the biplane, into it.
I recently bought this made in Japan tin vehicle which has some plastic parts and no sears. I am not sure what I'll do with it. I might trim down or cover the engine and make a seat and driver. Here is the vaguely, German Albatross biplane. it now has just two propellors. I mentioned, elsewhere, that I used a Lancaster bomber propellors and nose cone; they are now painted black. There is a rear wheel missing and haven't decided how to replace it. I haven't decided if I'll leave the roundels or replace with another design.
The ornithopter is shown here with the wings on the up.
