Chaos Champion Snake Handler (From 'Wrestler' Figure)

 I showed this figure in an earlier post. I don't I know the figure's origin, but it looked like a wrestler. here you can see the added putty helmet and the Warhammer shield used to be part of his cuirass (which was just painting his large chest bronze).

  He is a little bigger than 54mm. I borrow quite a lot of lore and ideas from Warhammer, and I don't give two hoots if it has been 'replaced' by Age of Sigmar. 'I make my own rules!'

  I also resculpted part of the snake's tail so it was not in the way of the sword hilt. (The sword was a plastic one from the spares box). I could have more drastically resculpted that snake so it became more ' a part of' its handler but decided to keep this 'family friendly!)

                                        

                          I usually incorporate some weird, blended color variations on Chaos bases.

  The skin was given a light blue wash and some blue-white highlights to make the figure look a little less like a normal human.

My Chaos Knights generally have plate armor but a few of the Chaos warriors don't have much armor, so eventually I'll make additional units with varying armor.

  This was an odd toy I picked up at a Sunday market, op shop or garage sale. Even though (I assume) it was not an especially collectable figure I like how it turned out and it is one of my favorites. I figure he would have some kind of extra attack for the snake.
